Kristi b... that's me!

Okay… so. Last sunday i woke up so my eye just completely messed up. Super sensitive to all light, blurry vision, tearing like crazy, swollen, real red and irritated. i could barely keep it open. so got through the day and the next 2 days it seemed to be getting better. then tuesday i went back to school and by the time i got home it was hurting again with a headache. i ended up just falling asleep and slept for over 12 hours. I woke up and it was doing okay. so i went to dallas. 

i was only supposed to be there for a day. was there for 3. haha

within hours after getting there it got so bad that i couldn’t even see or keep either of my eyes open. it felt like there was a stick in my eye. so i ended up having to find a doctor in dallas. 

Now those of you who know me.. know i HATE going to the doctor and will not go unless i absolutely have to. 

Turns out i had a lacerated cornea and an eye infection. She had to numb my eye just to keep it open for the examination. i told her i was planing on driving home that night. she said no. haha said it would take the steroids at least 24 hours to give me driving capabilities and gave me some antibiotic eye drops to use every 4 hours. Oh. and i have to wear glasses for 2 weeks. bahhhhh i hate wearing glasses during the day!!! 

So saturday i was able to drive with glasses, 3 pairs of sunglasses and lots of squinting. and my mommy following me. :)

Today has been the first day of no pain, no tears and almost clear vision! :) YAY!!! thank you jesus for my eyes. 

Now just need to get through a little more than a week wearing glasses and eye drops every 4 hours.
